Woods Island State Park
Located among Lake Champlain’s “inland sea,” Woods Island State Park is a 125-acre scenic destination near Burlington. The island features a plethora of wildlife and diverse plant life all native to Vermont.
Woods Island was designated as a state park in 1985, becoming Vermont’s 45th state park. A trail system runs throughout the park and its shorelines, leading visitors between old growth trees, wetlands, farmlands, and pastures.
