Quechee State Park
Visit Quechee State Park, the staging area for a journey to Quechee Gorge – Vermont’s deepest gorge. The gorge reaches depths of 165 feet, formed by approximately 13,000 years of glacial activity.
The park is located near Rutland, where guests can enjoy hiking and fishing on nearby Dewey’s Pond, as well as picnicking, horseshoes, and volleyball. The gorge, the park’s focal point, can only be found along the park's hiking trail.
